Artist Space available in Bywater
There is a 650+-sf size space for rent in the 1201 Mazant St building that currently houses many artists. This building is one block from the three galleries at St. Claude and Mazant st. (Good Children, The Front, etc) It is an interior space on the first floor with heat and a/c and 220v power.
There is a brickwalled gallery room with 2 long sets of track lighting. There is also a separate workshop room of equal size plus a space with a sink suitable for a darkroom or ceramics.

Venue Rental: Carver Theatre
The Carver Theatre at 2101 Orleans Ave is available for performance and special event bookings. Seating for 500 or 800 standing. Modern sound and lighting systems.

Artist Housing: LaSalle Apartmnets
The LaSalle Apartments, opening soon at 1113 Canal Street (adjacent from the Saegnerr Theater), is offering affordable housing for musicians, actors, performers and dancers (no visual artists). The rental cost varies from $651-$697 per month and they offer studios and one-bedrooms. One-year leases are required and there are income limitations as well. Rehearsal Space: Musicians Union
The New Orleans Musicians Union offers a 1,350 square foot rehearsal space located adjacent to our office at 2401 Esplanade Avenue in New Orleans exclusively to union members free of charge during regular working hours. (9:00AM to 4:30PM, Mon. thru Fri.) The room is also available evenings and weekends for a nominal fee of $20 per hour. (2-hour minimum)

The facility is fully air conditioned with access to bathrooms and includes use of the acoustic piano, PA system, music stands and chairs. The room is ideal for small combos or large ensembles and gives our members an affordable and comfortable alternative when scheduling that all-important audition or practice session.

Icehouse NOLA
The Icehouse is a local commercial building and co-working space located in the Bayou St. John neighborhood, surrounded by Broad Street, Orleans and Ursulines Avenues. The ultimate goal of a co-working environment is too offer low overhead and costs to businesses that are either just starting or choose to remain smaller in structure. The Icehouse houses desks that are for lease to interested parties.
